Hi Jackie, I used the Mary Oliver poem in my class last week...it was perfect. Thank you for sharing it with me. Hope you are well. Peace and love, Jen
I teach a Vinyasa flow class that focuses on preserving and celebrating the richness of the ancient yogic philosophy and practices so that my students can contemplate these teachings in the context of their everyday, modern lives. We sing, laugh and stand on our heads! All levels welcome because we are all a mix of all levels at any given moment. Join us.
Enjoy a thoughtful, powerful and rejuvenating flowing Yoga practice.
Inner Bliss Yoga Studio schedule
Mondays at 6a - hot powerful flow
Fridays at 6p - hot powerful flow
Saturdays at 4:30p - all levels
Sundays at 8:30a - all levels
I took my very first yoga class in the winter of 1999 with my brother. We were in the basement of an old and stinky YMCA. The room was completely dark except for one lonely candle that flickered by our movements. We rolled out our mats on the dank carpeting and began our practice. Things were going well until the teacher told us to “be the cow and let your utters hang low.” I was doing my best not to make eye contact with my brother who I knew would make me crack up with laughter…and then it happened, we both lost it and were in tears laughing. It was just like being in church when we were little…feeling like we weren’t supposed to be laughing and only laughing harder. We walked out of class light and happy.
I am honored to study with my teachers Tammy Lyons and Marni Task. I received my certification through Marni’s teacher training. Marni is Jivamukti certified and Anusara inspired. I’ve also had the extraordinary opportunities to study with Sharon Gannon and David Life, co-creators of Jivamukti Yoga, and Amy Ippoliti, who is Anusara certified. Other amazing teachers include Gabriela Bozic, Desiree Rumbaugh, Shyamdas, Janet Stone, Yogeswari and life itself.

Hi Lynn & Sumei,
This is one of my favorite quotes. I always think about this quote when I start to get grumpy!
Peace and love,
Jen
